Andy Bull has announced his final set of headlining tour dates in support of his 2014 album Sea Of Approval. The Talk Too Much Tour will see the Aussie alt-pop singer head out on a 10-date run across Australian capital cities.
The singer-songwriter has defeated the curse of the difficult second album with Sea of Approval garnering more attention than his 2009 debut We’re Too Young. It seems the five year gap between albums made the world of difference with Bull returning last year with a more finessed, honest approach to songwriting which has earned plenty more fans.
Talk Too Much, the track for which the tour is named, also charted in triple j’s Hottest 100 following in the footsteps of Keep On Running and Baby I Am Nobody Now which charted the previous year. Bull has also just come off touring around the country with Laneway Festival.
Hopefully it won’t be so long in between albums this time around, either. Bull is set to head back into the studio to start recording the follow-up to Sea Of Approval after this tour.
The Talk Too Much Tour is set to kick off Canberra on 10th April and will run for a month finishing up in Mandurah at the Stretch Arts Festival on 10th May. Brisbane’s Cub Sport will be traversing the country with him, appearing as support on all dates.
